He's just a Saints fan from Ohio. Anything beyond that I won't say.

There's no special connection to Portis.

By the way, didn't Riggo used to skip practices quite frequently as well?

Okay, that's fine.

I've never complained about Portis missing practice, so I don't care one way or another. I just want him to show up on gameday.

You're really blowing my conspiracy theory though. I was getting starting to get some traction.

AND THAT is the key. If a player is kicking ass on the battlefield, NOBODY gives a crap what he does off the field (mostly).....

I think that was only in his contract yr prior to Gibbs...I think. It took Gibbs to go to Riggs ranch and talk him into coming back. After that he was at practice all the time even with a hangover.
