I thought that the argument was that Phat Al, Orakpo, etc., would force QB errors and our long-term problem with getting interceptions would be fixed?

We have had opportunities. Mostly, we've forced a lot more fumbles than we've recovered. But we've forced some bad passes with the pass rush, and have either dropped it (linebackers, looking at you), or just haven't been in position to make a play.

We're still trying to figure out this zone coverage thing. It seems like such a foreign concept to some of the defensive players, but we simply don't have the personnel to play man anymore.
