You seem to present this as if it's more than likely true.

If he has a problem maybe they could have him talk to a descendant of Lone Star Dietz if they can find one. Has anybody from the media attempted this? That would probably be one of my first attempts at an interview if I was covering one of the stories on the Redskins names.

Don't know how easy that would be considering there's been controversy about his actual heritage.

This is not possible because Lone Star Dietz had no children. He was like a father to some of his players, but that is entirely different.

He could have a collateral descendant, so it's not impossible. Thanks for dropping by though, I'll check out the book if I see it locally.
