Well I feel like those are continuous stories that have an underlying relevance at all times. Tiger's affairs are big news right now but it will fade away in a few days

And I think this is the chief reason why newspapars in print is a dying industry. By the time the paperboy hits your doorstep with the newspaper the vast majority of that news is either old to you or is of no interest. Nowadays we consume our news in specific chunks. If I want football, I go to NFL.com or NFL network. If I want Skins news I don't go to either of those, I go to www.thewarpath.net.

It's a really sad that we have to sift through all the BS and entertainment to actually get to a few minutes of actual information. Incidently, I believe that's why blogs have grown so rapidly and carved out a niche in the world of media.
