We're a 3-9 team and as such, we're not fighing for a playoff spot. what on earth do we have to gain by cutting Suisham and signing another kicker for the remaining 4 weeks of our season? No one who'd be on the market now is worth keeping around in 2010, so we might as well keep the guy we got, see if he redeems himself, and then address the position as necessary in the offseason. I don't see how there's anything to be gained by "side-grading" the position now.

It's simply completing a move that should have been done in the preseason.

He didn't deserve a spot on the team at all. Sure he came out with a good start to the season, but recently he's returned to the kicker we all knew he actually is.

but theres no sense making a move now. there's 4 weeks left in the season. the more field goals he misses, the better it is for us as we'll just secure a higher draft pick. besides, theres no one out there now who'll do a better job anyways.
