Re: Report: Shanahan in Talks with Redskins
If this is true then the one thing I do know is that Kyle Shannahan will be named the Assistant HC/OC. The Bugel situation should be an interesting one to monitor. Does he want to coach another year? If he doesn't could the team get Alex Gibbs, after all he's already an Assistant HC? Will Bugel be able to handle himself on draft day when for the first time in 100 years the Redskins spend multiple picks on OL, including early picks?

F Snyder...Zorn said it would take 2-3 years, but nobody wants to listen...his playcalling could be better but that is true of any coach, I feel for the guy

People will say, "Well they play hard every week and he deserves credit for keeping them from quitting". No he doesn't. There are some very strong veterans with a lot of pride on this team. I credit them for holding the locker room together. Not the idiot who chose to take a penalty and give a third and 12 because the other kicker is good at 50 yard field goals. I am tired of seeing him in our colors. They should have fired him at the bye week and let Jerry Gray be the interim coach. It is not an accident that they did a 180 after Sherman Lewis came in off the street. |

Re: Report: Shanahan in Talks with Redskins
I really like Kyle Shanahan. He's an excellent play caller and I'm sure he'll be in Washington If Mike is our new coach. The future is looking very bright for the Skins.

Re: Report: Shanahan in Talks with Redskins
Are some people seriously suggesting that a fired head coach come back to the same team as a quarterbacks coach? You have got to be fucking shitting me.

Re: Report: Shanahan in Talks with Redskins
This was from NFL.com in regards to Kubiac's future. Notice the team was 5-7 when it was written so they've won a game.
Texans coach Kubiak's job could be at stake down the stretch I read he was hired in 2006. Presuming he coached the 2006 season he's been there 3 yrs. I wonder when his current contract ends? Other then that he could simply say I resign and walk away to most likely get a better pay day with the Skins as OC. |

Re: Report: Shanahan in Talks with Redskins
I'm going to lock this thread. Not because there's anything wrong with it. But because we have two almost identical threads going here and it's probably easier to just shut one down. So I've randomly chosen this one
