It would have been a dumb move to pull Favre out while the team was still winning, even 7-6. That doesn't send a good message to the rest of the team. Sure Favre was struggling, but the team was winning the game...would you really want to turn the offense over to Sage or T-Jack and expect them to manage a 7-6 lead???

It would be different if he was being crushed 24-7....Favre was having the life beat out of him but the team was still winning the game....Now i know they did get crushed in the 4th quarter, but at the time Childress wanted to pull Brett, the team was still winning the game...
