Good question. I kinda figured the next day in the morning like Vinny's was announced. Then within an hour Shanahan announced. But now that you mention it .... if the contract is already signed like some are saying I could see Zorn fired right after the game sometime and Redskins1 in route to pick up Shanahan to fly him in (if he's not already flown in early) for the next morning. I would figure that in Shanahan's contract it says something about him being the HC on Jan 4, 2010.

I was thinking the same when it comes to Zorn, fired by lunchtime if not sooner. Shanahan though may take a couple of days, maybe a Wednesday press conference. Even though it's a done deal, Snyder will want to let the news cycle of the coaches fired throughout the league on Monday & Tuesday die down so he can own the headlines.
