if anyone was a blind squirrel, it was shanahan - he only won 1 playoff game since elway retired. whereas his team got worse over the years, cowher's got better. shanahan's a good coach, and a great upgrade over zorn, but cowher is the superior coach. its not even debatable.
The only problem is Shanahan runs the WCO which JC has been under for the last 2 yrs. Cowher runs a Schottenheimer style offense. We basically would be definitly starting completely over most likely with terminology as well. If we stay with Shanahan the turn over would be less stressful on the players and they might adjust to it quicker since they have been already running a WCO.
