Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis
Who cares about these two? Jc finally had a "career" year and cp is always hurt.. I would rather keep campbell because he's a true gamer, but this is dumb. It looks like these two just want to make excuses for our sad ass offense. Cp? I used to like him but I'm tired of his crybaby shit.

Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis
Funny how some you guys are blasting CP for sying the same things some of you have been posting about JC this whole season!!! Portis is a bit of an ass and his best days are probably behind him...but, he does own the franchise single season record (and if retained will have the career record), carried us on his back to the playoffs in 2005, changed his body to fit the Gibbs system (BTW- Gibbs absolutely loved CP...not so high on JC...wonder why), and may end up in the Hall. While JC is only known for being a mediocre to average QB at best. Say what you want about CP, he says what he thinks. Not like the "leader" JC who never speaks like a leader or performs like one. Taking a whipping doesn't make you a winner...it just means you can take punishment. Answer me this.....If JC is such a "leader" and the QB to lead us to the next level. Name any single game where he took the team on his back and lead them to victory. Can you? Come on...just one? And do not say the Saints game last year( one play does not a game make).

BTW- I was not inferring that CP's comments to the media were professional or acceptable PR. What I was addressing is the blatant hypocrisy of some posters on this site. CP's comments (although aired in an inappropriate manner) were also blown out of proportion and taken out of context. He also is not the first person to question Campbell's leadership skills (side bar- I listen to the John Thompson show every week and hear CP supporting JC and his other teammates). Posters here bast JC (I am not particularly fond of him) then he has a couple of solid games and now he's our future and F--- CP (who has given ALOT to this team over his career). PR is one thing....the truth is another. Alao, It appears that CP has reached out to JC to fix this issue...yeah, He's such an A--hole.

would you please put your portis pom-poms down!!, attitude reflects leadership, JC may or may not be a QB that can win a game by himself, last time i checked there were only 2 or 3 qb's in the league that could, but CP lacks that thing called humility, and that will be his demise.

The best TEAM wins, not the best collection of individuals.....Portis is a cancer which erodes the TEAM. Apparently many of the Redskins players see it this way too. I just don't get the CP apologists...what has he done for the team? |

Re: Jason Campbells response to Portis
Sorry I worded it wrong, I should have said they were pretty much saying the reasons why our offense was so bad. I applaud Campbell for coming back at cp.. Portis is done, I used to like him because of his will to make great blocks but he's just a me guy anymore. Jc deserves to have another shot w us, but as Adam shefter said on espn earlier , he thinks shanny will bring in another guy to run his offense.
