Hey ish happens. Brooking should have been in Jason Garrett and the o-line face because the defense kept the team in the game as long as they could.
Yup. About 1 quarter. Ya got dominated on both sides of the ball. Stop making apologies for a defense that allowed 34 in a playoff game.

LOL...On Rice's first TD the DB didn't even know a TD was scored.

Now the JETS D? That's a real D.

JJ sure is a glutton for punishment.

Sources: Dallas Cowboys likely to extend coach Wade Phillips' contract beyond 1-year option - ESPN Dallas

Re: Vikings Run Up The Score: Brooking vs. Pat Williams

The question for Cowboy fans right now is how much longer can the foundation built by Bill Parcells last? Make no mistake about it, the Cowboys recent success is due to the guys Parcells brought in just like the reason the wonderfully homophobic Barry Switzer won a Super Bowl with the players Jimmy Johnson brought in.

I mean if you think about it, it's surprising that the team has lasted this long without Parcells. He brought in Romo, Ware, Witten, Ratliff, Cantry (no longer with the team), Newman, Bradie James, Mat McBriar, and Miles Austin. To Jurrahs credit a lot of the current O-line was built before and after Parcells and he was able to bring in Felix Jones so it's not like he hasn't made good picks (sound familiar) but right now I'm longing for the days of Dave Campo and Quincy Carter (pre-Parcells).

No kidding on both counts. The safety's reaction to that was priceless. I've never seen less of an effort. He made a half-ass play on the ball then made no attempt to tackle Rice. WTF?

The Jets strike me as very much the half-team of destiny. We seem to have those a lot the last few years. They'll probably make the big game...get beat and then lose 10 games next year.

Truly, 17-3 isn't keeping someone in the game.

Yes, but none of our players made a stink about it like Brookings, and our game was during the regular season. And as I said, Belichick did the same thing to several teams during meaningless games.

Was really surprised the Cowboys didn't get in the end zone.

Oh well, I guess the Vikings did a good job shutting down Roy Williams. Oh wait...you don't need to shut down Roy Williams.

When was the last time Washington won a NFC championship or even went to one for that matter. I am thinking it was the 1991 season? Ouch. No freaking NFC Championship Game since 1991 and you talk about droughts. Trust me its gonna be several years before the Redskins get anything on track. 1991 geez lol. I am shocked with how many around here talk about the Cowboys post season when the DeadSkins have done even less. Seriously going 20 years back only two division titles. After the Skins last superbowl I think you are tied with Dallas after their last won with just two playoff wins. I guess our teams could be the Cincy who is in a real drought.

At this point, I give you props for coming here, unlike your fellow Dallas fans who typically post in here. However, there's no point on bringing up the Redskins shortcomings, because you'd be preaching to the choir.

It's always funny to me how Boys fans lift up their playoff prowless of 1 win in 13 years. Yeah you been there more then the Skins, but you don't win. In the same 13 years the team that is supposed to suck so much more than you has 2 playoff wins to your 1. The way I see it the cowgirls are still one in the hole in comparison to the sorry Skins. Now that the facts are on the table if the sorry team has won more playoff games then you my question is what does that make your team? Super Sorry!!!!! LMBO!!!!
