Yeah, that was a bad call. But his team just wasn't sharp either. It wasn't just that one call, they let the Jets just hang around until Greene broke that long run for a TD. A championship caliber team would have responded, they didn't. And to be fair, the Jets had some questionable play calling at the end too.

It's like every year the Chargers start kind of slow, get on fire at the end and just fizzle out. I think this team has a hard time getting it up next year, I really do. I think they're in for a big let down next season. The Chiefs might be that next team in AFC West.

I agree, they were sporadic to say the least, more inconsistent and unable to sustain offense than I thought they would be. You're right, they could be in for a let down in the near future with LT"s game going downhill their reign in the AFC west could be becoming short lived. I'd like to see Merriman come back east (maybe to the Skins) if he's over injuries and can stay healthy.

Funny I think just the opposite of Merriman. I think he's probably going to be a 8-10 sack a year guy now. That knee injury really slowed him down. The biggest difference I've noticed about Merriman is that he's no longer the emotional leader of that defense. I wish him the best next year, but not in burgundy and gold. Wouldn't surprise me if the Chargers got rid of him though.

I paid close attention to him today and you're right he's not the player he was before the injuries, those coupled with his personal problems have rendered him a shell of his origional self. I do wonder how much he has left.

The only way I would tolerate him here is, if he stops those stupid "lights out" celebrations.

When you've gotten where you are from using steroids and suddenly stop, you may see a drop off in production.

Yeah, those Roids will do it every time. When I had origionall thought of him as a prospective Redskin I realized that's a problem we definately do not need even if he hadn't been injured.
