LOL...On Rice's first TD the DB didn't even know a TD was scored.

Now the JETS D? That's a real D.

JJ sure is a glutton for punishment.

Sources: Dallas Cowboys likely to extend coach Wade Phillips' contract beyond 1-year option - ESPN Dallas

Re: Vikings Run Up The Score: Brooking vs. Pat Williams

The question for Cowboy fans right now is how much longer can the foundation built by Bill Parcells last? Make no mistake about it, the Cowboys recent success is due to the guys Parcells brought in just like the reason the wonderfully homophobic Barry Switzer won a Super Bowl with the players Jimmy Johnson brought in.

I mean if you think about it, it's surprising that the team has lasted this long without Parcells. He brought in Romo, Ware, Witten, Ratliff, Cantry (no longer with the team), Newman, Bradie James, Mat McBriar, and Miles Austin. To Jurrahs credit a lot of the current O-line was built before and after Parcells and he was able to bring in Felix Jones so it's not like he hasn't made good picks (sound familiar) but right now I'm longing for the days of Dave Campo and Quincy Carter (pre-Parcells).

Don't worry...Campo is a still a coach and maybe Jerah will finally promote Garrett. He seems like he's done a great job running his half of the team. Maybe he and Jerry Gray could co-headcoach.

No kidding on both counts. The safety's reaction to that was priceless. I've never seen less of an effort. He made a half-ass play on the ball then made no attempt to tackle Rice. WTF?

The Jets strike me as very much the half-team of destiny. We seem to have those a lot the last few years. They'll probably make the big game...get beat and then lose 10 games next year.

If you slow-motion the play you'll see that the DB completely lost the ball and once he turned his head to look for the ball it was already in the hands of Rice. After looking back for the ball he then looked at Rice but didn't realize/see the ball was already in Rice's hands so there was no need to tackle him. He was so oblivious to the play it's not even funny...really classic.

JETS JETS JETS...they remind me of 2005 Steelers. They...could...go...all...the way.
