On a lighter note, our new D-Line coach is Jacob Burney:
Per JLC: Redskins hire Jacob Burney as DL coach. Had worked with Mike Shanahan in Denver. Skins staff update on NFL Network and NFL.com about 9 hours ago from web Soooooo Head Coach: Mike Shanahan Offensive Coordinator: Kyle Shanahan Defensive Coordinator: Jim Haslet Special Teams Coordinator: Danny Smith QB's: Open (Any ideas?) RB's: Bobby Turner (Also will serve as Associate Head Coach) WR's: Richard Mann TE's: Open (Any ideas?) OL: Possibly Mike Solari LB's:Lou Spanos DL: Jacob Burney DB's: Bob Slowick S: Steve Jackson Kirk Olivadotti will serve as a Defensive Assistant, my guess is he will work with the LB's in some capacity especially since OLB's play a much different role in the 3-4 then ILB. Sort of like the difference between Safeties and Corners in the secondary. I came from a team that ran a 3-4 in High School and we had coaches for both ILB's and OLB's of course that was high school, this is the NFL.
