That's because he's always been a MLB in a 4-3 defense and he may not be comfortable in making the transition this late in his career.

Good point. Small ILB's usually don't project well in the 3-4, but there's a difference between "small" and "short". With his weight and tenacity I would imagine he'd play well. As you mentioned, whether he'd want to or not is another question.
