What is amazing is that so many guys who get the big bucks play with passion. Really, with the amounts being handed out to some of these guys (rookies and UFA's), skill level is almost irrelevant to future production. If you're set for life, do you have the desire to go through grueling practices and risk potential injury and still play to the best of your abilities?

JaMarcus apparrently answered the above question "No".

The NFL really needs a rookie payscale and JR is a perfect reason why. You're right, where is the motivation to work hard when you're handed a life changing payday the second you walk through the door??
