Is it just me or is anyone else not completely sold on the Chris Foerster acquisition (OL coach). From a rushing standpoint he was mediocre in Baltimore and downright bad in San Fran. I don't know where the "highly regarded for his work with the 49ers" on DC Pro Sports is coming from...I don't like this signing at all.

2005: 42 sacks allowed
2006: 19 sacks allowed
2007: 39 sacks allowed
2008: 55 sacks allowed
2009: 40 sacks allowed

Now admittedly he didn't have the best quarterbacks (J.T. O Sullivan, Kyle Boller) but don't you guys think Shanahan could have brought in someone a little better?

He started with the 49ers in 2008 he inherited a line as bad as ours, got Joe Staley on his second year the only decent OL and was involved in drafting Chilo Rachal. Give him time.
