That has actually happened. I gave my 2 week notice and continued to do my job to the best of my ability and even offered my services part-time until I got on my feet with my own business. If I sign a contract, I plan on fulfilling it to the best of my ability until the contract is up. I wouldn't make an ass out of myself and disrupt practice like a child. BM has also been suspended by the league which has nothing to do with his contract. It's hard to be a baller and contribute to your team when you're not allowed to play because of illegal activity off the field. I don't even like Portis's diva BS, I sure don't want Marshall's.
