It's not like Tebow is going to be any worse of a quarterback than half of the guys who do get first round draft grades on a yearly basis. He might actually be better than half of first rounders, but I, like many others, doubt he will be.

Certainly, he's not going to be a worse draft choice by the team that takes him than Mark Sanchez was for the Jets. The key is to wait long enough to take him so that the expectations for Tebow match where he actually is developmentally, which is not very far at all.

If a team takes Tebow to be a quarterback, and after two years, decides that he really doesn't understand a progression and doesn't want to waste any more time working with him, and moves him to TE, is that really any different than the team that takes a LT in the first round, and ends up only being able to play him at RG?
