Williams defense here in DC was one of the few things that ran consistently well. Our offense and Special Teams was more the problem during Gibbs II.
Greg Williams is a highly respected defensive coordinator in the NFL and his defense was not the problem..
Sean Payton did not take $250k pay cut to get Williams for nothing.

Another reason why some Redskins fans like Williams is he was basically shown the door here after his interview with Ceratto and Snyder. I as many of the Redskins wanted Williams and the remaining Gibbs coaching staff to take over for Gibbs... not bring in Zorn and his staff.
