re: Update: Ray Wright Named Strength & Conditioning Coach
Quote:
i heard him doing a radio interview on 105.7 fan in bmore a few weeks ago. he said he had major head problems. towards the end of his career, he got into his car after practice and couldnt remember where he lived. thats when he decided it was time to hang them up. since then he has had major brain problems. he went to all types of doctors but doctors still dont have many answers when it comes to the brain. after spending a ton on trying to get medical help he eventually decided to surround himself with brain specialists and nutritionist to try and figure out a way to clear his head. he said he has had huge success in his own fight to repair his brain due to certain nutrients, etc and now has a company to researches and sells the nutrients that have helped him. it really sounded like he is all about health and very aware of the brain and concussions. he told a story where he was in the locker room after a game. another player was very lethargic and showing signs of concussion that we recognize today but were not well known then. he said there were no trainers or doctors aiding the player who was sitting by himself. roman got up and told med staff to check the guy out, med staff said he was ok, roman said if they didnt check him out he would let people know about it and if anything happened it would be there ass. med staff checked the player out, rushed him to the hospital where he was kept for a few days. the man has a passion and compassion for the beating nfl players take, maybe too much?
