Couldn't have said it any better my friend. People here just need a change of sceneary. They're still sold on Jason being our QB even though he's played 4 years for us and been here 5 years. I bet you as soon as we get a franchise caliber QB in the draft and he starts performing well people will be saying "Jason Who?" Until then we're still going to be hearing "Hey give Jason a shot," "He hasn't played behind a good OL yet," "Let him be in an offense for more than 2 years," its like people are so sold on this guy that they believe he's like the only QB out there or something, like we can't draft one or trade for one or whatever.

No one is sold on Jason Campbell, we're just sick of simple minded people that think a simple change of QB will make us into a Super Bowl contender right away. The only reason Campbell is being brought up, is because some people want us to take a franchise tackle and keep Campbell in the interim until either we can a.) develop a mid-round QB or b.) we can pick up a first-round QB in 2011.

The reason the argument sucks is because it's based on not a single premise. It's based on the authoritative word of someone who has been here all of 15 minutes and might be 14 years old.

Colt Brennan's NFL prospects are dead. He's 26, and basically played his way to free agency last preseason. There's a new Sheriff in town, he'll get a workout, and that will be the end of him. Or so I predict.

Well yeah, because once we lost to the winless detroit lions, winless KC chiefs, to name a few, I knew that we would suck and theres no point of ruining seasons of good teams such as the saints, eagles, to name a few, just for us to have a higher draft pick and be stuck with a worse pick. Wouldn't you agree that we're in a good spot in this draft to get pretty much who ever we want? I would. And the only games I wanted us to win were against Dallas, so again for the 100th time, I'm not a Dallas Fan. If you go back to the minnesota dallas game thread you'll see that I was very excited to see them lose.


Now, for the 3rd time. Back to Brennan who deserves a shot with the starters and not the 3 stringers.

What I hate is there protecting a guy who.

1: Made us be a big part of an 4-12 in the easiest schedule ever. The 05 redskins probably would have gone 14-2 with this schedule.

2: Jason is turning 29 and right now is a free agent who either can be traded or sign off to another team but if at best would be here for one year. They are protecting a QB whos gonna be here for one year????.

3: How is Jason Candle our best option? he's no better than Marc Bulger or Chad Pennington. This guy couldn't even give us a 3rd-4th rounder in his supposed best year in 08. Jets where eyeing him what happend?. They saw the Videos and saw how bad he is. Shanahan see's the videos and knows now we need a QB.
