I like Rogers when he is allowed to play to his strengths . Rogers was taken to be like a Nate Clements type CB and if anything Rogers is more physical than Clements .

Saying Rogers has always had an issue with every coaching staff no matter who he has worked with is a little disingenuous because it is the same defensive coaching staff under Gibbs and under Zorn and I have to say there seemed to be an awful lot of unhappy campers on the D last year, there was a lack of cohesiveness and a lack of leadership ... We should tender him and look to use him in a way that builds to his strengths . To me the lack of catches and ints is not as important for me as the number of catches he prevents . It is not as sexy a statistic but I would love to find somewhere which shows the number of 5+ catch / 100yard games a reciever had ....
