I think that if the Redskins decide they like LJ he will be here... at a Discount. He is a huge Skins fan from DC and really wants to be here.

Whoa. Serious stuff sir, really hope you and your mom get to the bottom, and more importantly regain a sense of peace in your life. That sort of invasion steals a lot!

I'd rather have Willie than Larry Johnson, simply because ones a head case and more of a bruising type back, where as willie is the fast speed/slashing type back, more for Shanny's offense IMO.

Re: Mega-Merge: 2010 Free Agency Rumors and Reports Thread
As long as we're talking about high-mileage backs around the 30 year old mark, why not just sign LT? I think LJ, LT, and Parker are all just about done, but if we're insistent on signing a back like that, why not one of best and classiest guys around? LJ is a grade A douche, but I'd still take him over Parker. For the record I don't want any of the three, just saying.

Re: Mega-Merge: 2010 Free Agency Rumors and Reports Thread
Interesting decision between a guy who is probably done (Johnson) but was once awesome and a guy who was never really that good (Parker) and will be done soon. I'd have to imagine a UDFA would be more productive.
I wonder what they talk about in those meetings. If they're not working the player out, I'm not sure what type of question they are asking that is helping them measure up the players against each other.

Re: Mega-Merge: 2010 Free Agency Rumors and Reports Thread
I could care less if LJ is a skins fan or not. He is another pain in the behind RB with an attitude, with an IQ comparable to a tube sock. Why in the world bring him in? This move makes no sense, and I am really starting to question the notion that our F.O. knows all and that all their moves are "in the best interests" of the team, and are unquestionably the right moves. I am really hoping that this meeting, is just that, a meeting, and absolutely nothing more. No more projects Allenahan, start making some moves for players that are gonna help this team, and that are viable options at their respective positions. No more back-up, Problem child, aging HAS BEENS.

Re: Mega-Merge: 2010 Free Agency Rumors and Reports Thread
This might just be a favor to LJ's agent (who I believe is also Haslett's agent). It could be to pressure someone like Parker. It could be just a general visit. Or the Redskins could have legit interest in him. Who really knows?

Looks like Foote is trying to tell the Cardinals the same thing.

Re: Mega-Merge: 2010 Free Agency Rumors and Reports Thread
I just realized something, the saints just lost they're starting OLB to FA, and they cut they're starting DE. NO's Defense is run by Gregg Williams whom brought in Andre Carter and Rocky McIntosh. We are switching to a 3-4 Defense which Andre Carter has already said he doesn't fit in, and many believe Rocky would be too small for the project ILB position. Could I be sensing a trade here that would send Rocky and Andre to the saints for a few draft picks, like a 2nd and 6th rounder? Sure Rocky's been tendered for a 3rd, and we don't exactly know what we could get for andre, but I think if you put the two together we could be getting those picks, or similar picks.
