Dirtbag, he has one thing Collins doesn't. Youth. I don't feel as if the Redskins are a team that need a savvy veteran at QB to pull them through in the starter goes down. Chances are even if the starter stays healthy for 16 games, the season ends week 17.

The thing is although he's a rarity, Bret Farve has at the very least people thinking about QB's under 40, so a guy like Todd Collins that had some pretty interesting bright spots in spot duty with no where near the wear and tear of Farve will at the very least be strongly considered to stay on the roster.

besides the fact that he's old, todd seems like a horrible fit for shannys offense. i gotta believe he's a gonner.

I could not agree with this more. Campbell has had his chance. And I understand that we have been lacking an O line for some time now but he constantly steps into sacks when the pocket is fine. He also misses plenty of chances to scramble for easy first downs.
