if he gets seriously injured, hes done for his career. if he gets a hammy injury and misses 5 games next year, he goes into a FA with question marks that would diminish his opportunity to get a good deal.

if we sign dansby to a multi year deal, i think rocky will be real pissed. we drafted this guy, watch him slowly develop into a decent linebacker, then when he is set to hit FA after playing on a 5 yr rookie deal we slap him with a 1 yr 1 million dollar tender?

rocky = dansby, atleast stats wise they are almost identical.

lets low ball a skins player who has done nothing try and do what he is asked, and then give money to a FA linebacker who wants to get paid? havent we heard this story before? dont we know how it will end?

dont give me that "its a business" crap. right, its a business when we are going to low ball your worth b/c we can but it's "family" when we hit pre-season and regular season and need you to go out and play your hardest without worrying about injury.

how willing is rocky going to be to sacrifice his body for the team after this?
