But this is what we talked about a couple of weeks ago. That there would be major changes to the current roster. Shanahan and Allen have no loyalties to anyone on the roster and they've never been afraid to make changes

And there's more to come. Skins seem really intent on shipping Rocky and Campbell out ideally by this weekend (regardless of what they're saying).

Lots of Browns rumors floating around. Some good, some not so good. Depending on your perspective I suppose.
Did somebody say Rocky and Campbell for Shaun Rogers and a second?

So we get rid of our average QB for a mediocre QB (Anderson) or a QB with the situation where the jury is still out on him? Screw that, give me the pick, let's draft Bradford and get a vet QB in free agency if that's the case.

Well Rogers is the best player in the trade, Anderson has accomplished a ton more than Campbell ever has and like you said, the jury is still out on Quinn. I would rather have Okung/Davis and either Quinn/Anderson then Bradford and a second round pick.

REALLY? Anderson??? You've GOTTA be fucking kidding me!!! Anderson sucks balls. Rogers was hurt during the latter part of the season, and the Browns actually won when he was hurt. And if we're going to go with an unproven QB, then let's draft one.

I thought the trade in general was amusing so I threw in one of their QBs.

But to my point, Anderson has undoubtedly accomplished more than JC. Don't believe me, look it up.

Always take the pick, especially with the bunch of guys you are talking about. Anderson is better than Quinn, but that is not saying too much. Do you take Anderson/ Quinn or get an extra pick where you could draft a QB. If the pick is for this draft we could draft another QB with it. Only QBs slated to be taken by the second round are the "fab" 4 and maybe Brown from WVa. We could land Bradford/Clausen and Lefevour/Stull/Hall/etc. I rather use our first two picks for linemen, but just saying I rather draft an extra QB in a QB deep draft than get Anderson.

Why the hell would we take 2 quarterbacks in the first two rounds when we had the worst line in the league?

It is a hypothetical Pocket. I rather would draft two QBs than trade for Anderson or Quinn. THose guys suck. The rationale from that would be similar to why we drafted Frerotte after we got Shuler, that being a young backup, and a possible replacement if the experiment goes awry. IF I was the GM the first two picks are O linemen no matter what. Just saying the choice of a second drafted QB is preferable to Anderson or Quinn in my opinion. Think about it now. Yeah I want Okung and Bruce Campbell if I was the GM, but say Shanny has his eye on Bradford and gets a additional second round pick. He could get a top LT and possibly get Lefevour or Max Hall, etc in the second round. If your stud falters you have another stud that might take over. Not that crazy of a scenario. Not likely to happen, but who knows.

Dude what are you smoking? Those guys are horrid. I know the Browns have their problems, but we are way better off using the second round pick to get another rook QB. This year is a banner crop for QBs. Get your franchise guy, then get another young guy as the 3rd stringer that might actually compete for the starting position. I mean if we do trade JC, that leaves us only with Brennan, and that experiment is a bit shaky.

Well, I think that the trade scenario as a whole was pretty unrealistic so I said throw in one of their QBs.

Banner Crop for QBs? Then why would we use the 4th pick on one when stud tackles are available and LT is absolutely our biggest need.

I question your opinion on QBs after saying that Anderson was a good QB.

Are pro-bowlers good?

In this specific case, no.

I think Quinn is more comparable to what you already have in Campbell, but I still think that's a small downgrade. However, what you're giving up in production, you're gaining in age. Which is not the case with Anderson.

Anderson's Pro Bowl as a long time ago (or that's what it seems). He f'ing sucks. Just because you don't like Campbell, it doesn't mean that you have to come up with this Anderson BS. In one game last season, Anderson had TWO completions! In this league it is all about what you have done to me lately. Right now, you could trade Campbell for a pick (maybe a mid round pick), you couldn't get a ham sandwich and a coke for Anderson. Give me a break.
