Peppers, Kampman could be linked

As the launch of the free agency period in the first uncapped year since 1993 approaches, Adam Schefter of ESPN explained during a spot on SportsCenter that defensive ends Julius Peppers and Aaron Kampman could have a connection.

Basically, whoever doesn't get Peppers is expected to then make a play for Kampman, who was a solid 4-3 end and who languished as a 3-4 linebacker.

Dollar for dollar, we'd take Kampman. The big question, however, is his knee.
