Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 3)
I thought it was the "big" news about the draft party being held there?

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 3)
i gotta give some credit to the new men in town (shanny and bruce) seems to me like they want to sign players that are hungry and just want to play some football. no longer is washington the destination of a player who is going from team to team just looking for the highest contract.

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 3)
It has been fairly quiet during the FA period but I got a feeling that it will be pretty active during the draft with some trades. I expect Carter, Landry and possibly Moss saying goodbye. I would love to get Golden Tate somehow.

If we get rid of Carter, Landry and Moss we are throwing away 2010. I don't know about you but I would be pretty pissed about that. I am sure that Haynesworth wouldn't be too happy either. |

I think it would make sense if we trade down out of the 4th spot, pick up another high pick, trade Landry for hopefully a 3rd or better, then draft Berry or Mays (whoever is available) then with the 2nd rounder pick an OT and with the pick added from the trade whether it is a 2nd or 3rd rounder get an OG, plus we get the Landry pick for either a LB, QB or RB. I would also try to trade Carter.

I'm just speculating, but the new FO may be using the Redskins' old reputation to make other franchises squeeze out more money, and thus take out more of their cap space.

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 3)
I don't want to make a big deal out of this since all the facts are not in, but Kelly Johnson Of Comcast is reporting that Albert Haynesworth showed up for orientation on Monday, then proceeded to miss workouts this week. Hopefully there is a legitimate excuse.

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 3)
Whats the fascination with this trade Laron Landry crap, this guy was the best Safety to come out of the draft 2ys ago, and he would be a Pro Bowl safety if the Redskins woud get thier heads out of the sand and play him at SS where he is suppose to play....The most stupid move the skins could make is the trade a safety that was the first round
(6th overall) pick 2yrs ago for anything less than a 1st round pick...Period Seems people have forgotten his first 2yrs ........... Posted 167 tackles, two sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery in two NFL seasons Named to the NFL All-Rookie Defensive Team as a rookie in 2007 Named a first alternate to the Pro Bowl in 2008 and third alternate to the Pro Bowl in 2007 Recorded the first two interceptions of his career in a Wild Card Playoff game at Seattle (1/5) |

That said, I don't want to trade him now. It would be selling low.
