The secondary will largely remain unchanged except they'll play a little more Zone which would benefit Hall more then Rogers.

Either way i want to agree with those people that mentioned Chris Wilson i think he's an ideal fit for a 3-4 OLB

I also want to add/agree with people that mentioned Kevin Barnes and Justin Tryon

Shananhan is impressed with Rogers. The feeling is that there was a lack of communication with Blache, and Rogers was basically treated bady compared to other players who made the same mistakes. The feeling from Tandler is the change of atmosphere and improved communication will benefit Rogers.

I'd say 5 Skins that should improve are

LB Blades i think he'll benfit from the 3-4 , and another year under his belt learning from Fletcher.

TE Fred Davis showed good hands , and not sure how healthy Cooley will play in the start of the season.

DL Golston , S Horton and OT Heyer should all do better aswell

I'll give my opinion before reading the link. This is people who are on the roster, that should have increased playing time.

Orakpo would be my #1. He will be put into position to make more plays as a rush LB or in free space.
#2 would probably be - Haynesworth. If he is able to line up as a DE in the 3-4 system, i think he would absolutely be dominant.
#3 - goes to a couple of LB's....Blades and Wilson. Both of these guys could benefit from the 3-4 system. Blades playing inside along with London, and playing Wilson more on the outside. To me, he is the prototypical 3-4 OLB. He NEEDs to be on the field more. He just makes plays happen.
#4 - Campbell - Working with Shanahan and having some quality lineman in front of him, having two pretty damn good backs (as long as they are healthy) and having the WR being more aggressive in their routes, cooley and davis healthy - campbell could have a HUGE year!
#5 - Malcomb Kelly - if ready little Shannys expectations of Kelly didn't get you all pumped up, then check your pulse. He expects to use Kelly as he did Andre Davis in houston. Said he is just as big, just as fast and plans on getting him in mismatches as he did in houston. I look for Kelly to be a big part of the offense.

When you sit back and look at the possibilities of this offense it really is exciting. Devin Tomas and Malcomb Kelly hopefully playing together on the field, with davis and cooley, portis and johnson...man the possibilities are exciting. I left out Moss thinking I would trade him on draft day... but thats my opinion. i think we have 3 good recievers on this team saying the 3rd is Mitchell.

Well said, based on this you bring up another topic 2010 season, i expect us to be competitive i'm not saying we are going to the playoffs/SB but we gotta be better than 2009.

I really hope he does better than 6 catches for 59 yards.

1. Clinton Portis - The new offense will take full advantage of his natural cutback abilities. Also, he has been challenged by Shanahan to get in top shape to excel and Clinton is a warrior who will accept that challenge. He'll lose ten pounds to get quicker, he'll be fit and ripped to start the season, and he'll have a big year.

2. Santana Moss - Shanahan will use him in the slot where he will feast on nickle backs, LB's, and safeties. Also, the coaches will find ways to get him the ball in space where he can do the most damage.

3, 4, and 5. Brian Orakpo, Jeremy Jarmon, and Chris Wilson - These players were made to be 3-4 OLB's. I expect them to terrorize QB's in 2010. Jarmon will get down to 260 and show off his speed and quickness.

1. Devin Thomas (he can become the next Brandon Marshall).
2. Clinton Portis (healthy Clinton + Denver running scheme = 15 TDs).
3. Brian Orakpo (first year pro-bowl, second year all-pro).
4. Albert Haynesworth (he can only improve compared to last year).
5. Jason Campbell (contract year)

we were 4-12 for a reason so a lot of players have no where to go but up.

my top 5 most improved players next year

1. Chris Wilson- He will turn into an all pro and eventual first ballot hall of famer after he puts up 15 plus sacks over the next 7 years. Future Redskins legend!

2. Clinton Portis- How could he get worse? He has nowhere to go but up from last season's performance

3. Jeremy Jarmon- I'd like to see him beef up to play defensive end rather than linebacker in the 3-4, and i think if he adds a little more weight he can play a big role in this defense. He showed flashes last year, and despite his injury i think he will have a nice impact.

4. Devin Thomas- Showed flashes last year, should keep improving with the new offense.

5. Jason Campbell- We are bringing the offense from Houston who has been very high powered. He did well imo last year under terrible pressure, and if the line is improved, he could put up big numbers.

Chris Wilson: I'm not sure that he will "improve" but his production should increase owing to the scheme change

Devin Thomas: I'm expecting him to come into his own as the #1 receiver that we drafted him to be

Kevin Barnes: Should improve dramatically and see a lot more of the field

I hope Jc and Kelly improve but i unfortantly don't see that happening. I was high on Kelly when he got drafted here but he just can't seem to get rid of that injury bug. Some guys are just like that , LB's Dan Morgon ( Panthers) and Andy Katzemeyor ( Patriots) among many others. Like i said ,i like the kid just dont see him getting on the feild enuff to improve.
And JC im a huge fan of ,i think he could win us a superbowl with a great defense around him. JC has the skills but he still wont have time to throw. People are saying he'll improve because are line has, but i just dont see it. If anything as of now we have a worse Oline ,loseing Samels and Thomas . I understand why there gone but when healthy both were very good. Artis Hicks should be a back up and so should most of the Olinemen we currently have signed.Dockery's proberly are best Olinemen which is sad ,and i dont know if his feet will be quick enuff for the new scheme. Now if we draft someone like Okung ,or bring in some more vets my feeling could change. But as of now i just dont see improvement there so i cant say JC will far any better then he has in the past. I do think the scheme fits Jc's talents better ,but untill we have a soild Oline we could have Tom Brady back there and still not able to score points.
