DCPSR is like a PFT (as in external stories aggregated in one location) for the Skins.. they pull in stories reported elsewhere and comment on them. Sometimes they'll have original (opinionated or opinion-driven) articles but as far as I know they've not really had much original as far as workings. That's no offense to them, but I wouldn't call it "another source."
Nope they don't pay me. I originally started looking at DCPSR when they had their page up with all the new coaching hires. I recently changed my comment at the bottom to the home page since the new hires page stopped working.

Then today while trolling Extremeskins looking for any new info (cause I'm starved, LOL, and waiting to see T.O. picked up by us) I saw the JC possibly traded to Raiders thread. I came to my favorite site to pass on a little rumor mill. Especially since I did not see it anywhere else. I started looking all over....ESPN, CBS, PFT, several others before I finally saw it on DCPSR which offered that the heard it on ESPN 980.

So no, no one is paying me. I was just hoping I got the jump on others on this site for a change. But I prefaced it saying it was RUMOR.

West of the Rockies? North of California?
i'm assuming he means denver since he said "up" here. its high altitude, out west, and we've been rumored to be trading for Marshall for quite a while. hopefully it pans out. Marshall would instantly make all of our receivers better by making them play positions theyre more suited for (Thomas as #2 and Moss in the slot). Those three plus Cooley and/or Davis and we'd have a rather nice passing attack. With McNabb under center we'd have a legit offense (assuming the line is addressed).

i'm more intrigued that Smoot indicated the bleacherreport nonsense may end up being true. a 3rd and 4th to Oakland for Campbell? high picks in each round. very happy for us. very sad for campbell.

And I've said a few times that Landry and Kelly/Moss and possibly a Saturday pick have been tied to Marshall rumors

As for the Oakland rumor, just to be clear I wasn't saying there is a pending Oakland for a 3th and 4th rumor. Just that Oakland is a legit partner and that compensation aligns with most rumors (though perhaps a bit higher than most rumors)

thanks for the clarifications. so do you think we may end up getting more than many of us expected/feared for campbell?

I don't know for a fact that he left practice because he's upset. I know that the rumor (more than a rumor) has him upset but won't assume that his absence from practice is directly related.

From my past professional experience with Landry, he just doesn't show up whenever he feels like not showing up. And he's not to one really give any reason for it

We also could all have no idea what's going on with Landry. It could be a simple as his monkey having a vet appointment for annual shots.

I'm in a bad mood when I know how much I'm forking over to the vet for my dog's shots...no matter how much I have, it's the principle in the matter...they jack up the prices for what takes 30 seconds to do.

Reid is reporting that Landry will be back tomorrow and will participate in the minicamp. so who knows why he left. this could just be something that got blown way out of proportion.

Online rumor mills and Twitter tend to do that.

I do trust Kelli Johnson though.

Filed to ESPN: Free agent quarterback Chris Simms reached agreement with Tennessee on a one-year deal. Simms a Titan -- again.

Saints restricted free agent OT Zach Strief signed his second-round tender.

Is he any good?

Re: 2010 NFL Off-Season Rumors and Reports (Week 5)

I'm starting to think that being named Mike Williams is a surefire way to make yourself a first round bust...and weight problems:
Quote:
No matter how much Carroll likes him, however, it's highly unlikely that Williams will actually play for the Seahawks in 2010. The 6-foot-5 Williams is listed at 230 pounds but has reportedly weighed in at 270 or more. After playing for the Lions in 2005 and 2006, he played briefly with the Titans and Raiders in 2007 and hasn't played in a regular-season game since then.
