Then to top it off, they could have traded Ramsey and received decent compensation but held on to him for an extra year, ruined his trade value and wound up with a 6th round pick. That move was a microchosm for everything wrong with the front office over the last 11 years. I hate the Portis for Champ deal, but this one was even worse. At least Portis was a big time performer at times. It does bring up the biggest risk to the McNabb deal. If the Mastermind is wrong, his tenure here could end up like the Hall of Famer's. But here is the thing. The Mastermind hasn't been ignoring the game for 10+ years and he isn't coming here to be a delegator and experiment with personnel moves for the first time. |
