You overestimate Brennan's abilities, which is probably a by-product of believing that the Zorn/Cerrato pairing made for good talent evaluations.

Truth be told NOONE knows how good CB is because he hasn't played in any serious games since college. He is young enough to still learn. Plus it may be cheaper to keep him and pay some other kid.

Gameplanning and de-prioritizing OLmen are different from talent-evaulating skill. Brennan's overhypedness is all because of his first preseason.
