Re: Flozell Adams at right tackle?

Flozell is better than Levi, I'd sign Flozell and put him on the right, and draft okung and in the 4th-5th round I'd draft Jason Fox and have him as my future RT.

Re: Flozell Adams at right tackle?

Absolutely, bring him in for a year as a stop-gap tackle.

Re: Flozell Adams at right tackle?

LT= No RT= maybe... he has all the qualities you look for in a RT
Nasty
Dirty
Holds his own in the trenches

Also his is better that what we have right now in Heyer.

Re: Flozell Adams at right tackle?

Shannahan tried to trade for Owens a few years ago. This doesn't mean he would want him now that his skills have become weaker. Owen cannot seperate from corners like he used too

Re: Flozell Adams at right tackle?

When TO can take over a thread about someone else without any objection, that says something right there. Looking forward to the "Redskins are talking to TO thread" in the near future. OK back to Flo.

Signing TO kinda makes me think this will be just a team full of talented mercenaries who don't really give a shit about the "Redskins". Like the Flozell Adams thing. U think he will be filled with pride at being a redskin? Hell no, he just wants to get paid and act like a frikkin fool. I want our team to be just that, a team that sticks together thru thick and thin. Not full of one year stop gap merc's.

But thats just me.

I agree with you. Signs point to the regime building with players as you call talented mercenaries. Johnson, Parker, McNabb, Buchanon, etc.

Agree but, If FO is building a team based on chemistry then they may not be able to overlook the "ON FIELD" chemistry of Mcnabb/TO. Just a thought...

Re: Flozell Adams at right tackle?

I'll copy over my post from the other thread

Quote:
so we invest in him starting but he gets us too many flags, etc... he should've been suspended a couple of times last year.. with that rep running rampant last year there'll be increased pressure for Goodell to do it... and our luck it'll happen when he's with us instead of with the Boys

dude's too big, old, slow, etc for here.. not a good fit

Re: Flozell Adams at right tackle?

He should just retire if he wants to be a starting LT. It won't come until someone is dumb or desperate, like their guy goes down.

No Flozell...too old, too fat, too slow, too lazy.

Re: Flozell Adams at right tackle?

This thread is insane, screw him id rather take a chance on a rookie or anyone else. Id rather us do it without ex cowboys, my aligence is to the burgundy and gold, i hate everything silver and blue, ar anything that has been associated with their franchise. And i live right in the heart of tx. These guys make me sick.

with that statement, you arent showing allegiance to the skins, but rather, just talking crazy. its absurd to not take good players because they used to play for the cowboys. if they make the redskins better, it doesnt matter.
