Did anyone hear on 980 that Haslett wanted to run predominantly 4-3. The rumor is that MS over ruled him and is forcing the 3-4.

Probably not a big deal but not something I wanted to hear.

I never heard that. But adding this guy shows that Big Al will play DE the majority of the time, and once everything starts rolling will see how they will use him. I see this as a good signing, Jim Haslett is one of the best D.Cords in the league and has been IMO.

This guy will be lucky to make it past the first cut. I would say it is more likely that Montgomery starts at NT than Bryant. If Kemo gets healthy ahead of schedule, Bryant is history.

I didn't say he was going to become an instant starter. You can see they have brought two guys in already that fit the typical NT position. Which Al doesn't, and as we keep hearing about competion at ever position. Who knows what is going to happen?
