I've heard all kinds of stuff about this kid. Pictures of him participating in the "Beer Olympics" when still underage, showing up at Notre Dame as a freshman in a limo wearing a fur coat, I heard his family was a nightmare with the boosters, demanding 40 tickets a game for friends, etc etc. Hell, he got punched in a the face outside of a restaurant in South Bend by a Notre Dame fan!! LOL!!

I just can't stand him. I will be legitimately angry if he somehow ends up a Redskin.
That's about the only thing I can take issue with. What college kid didn't drink while underage? I mean, I don't think that's indicative of anything. Talk about his attitude/leadership ability/skill level all you want, but I can't take issue with a kid enjoying college.

I know, he should be smarter and he should probably be held to a higher standard, but we're talking about a 19 year old whose only mistake was, really, getting caught on camera. I don't like him 1 bit, but I feel like he got unfairly ripped for drinking underage.

He and his entire family (brothers and parents) are super-arrogant, and flaunted Jimmy's athletic prowess at every turn. If you're going to put yourself out there as the "Kid with the Golden Arm," then how about you don't pose for pictures at 19 years old in the Beer Olympics. Like you said, he should be held to a higher standard, especially when you've been pimping yourself as a stud. If you wanted to be treated with a higher standard, then hold yourself to one. You don't see that stuff coming out with Tebow, Bradford, and McCoy.

Again, I simply can't stand this little D-bag (not you Dirtbag )

Dude, get over yourself, most kids that went to college drank while they were underage. You are on the Tebow bandwagon big time, so I guess by your comments you must be a bible thumper as well. You can have all of the heart that you want, but Tebow doesn't have the ability. Talk shit about Clausen all you want, hate on him whatever b/c all you've done is bash the guy. He will be a good QB in the NFL and Tebow will be a bust. I can't wait until this damn draft is over, so I can quit hearing all of this BS about Tebow and everyone bashing Clausen.

If you watch the Clausen video, at the end Gruden says that he will have a very nice career and he's ahead of the game. He is talented athletically and is a beast in the film room. I hope he gets a shot with a team that actually has a little talent, so that he will have a legit shot.

I wouldn't be mad if we picked up Tebo as a project behind McNabb. His attitude, intensity and work ethic I believe if cultivated right would make a tremendous QB. I think now that we have a QB like McNabb we can pursue a project like Tebow for the future.

Re: Jon Gruden's QB Camp

To the people ripping Clausen...when did he blame the receiver? He said that there was miscommunication between the two of them and when Gruden asked who is going to get the blame, Clausen said the quarterback...I don't know if that is indicative of douchebaggery

Also, read the comments at the bottom of the article. Everyone agrees that they are reading way too much into that BS.

We will see who the best NFL QB will be, Clausen or Tebow.

I never once turned this into a tebow vs clausen argument. But yeah, I'm the idiot. Fail.

I think as far as immediately, that's a no- brainer. I don't know about down the road 4-5 years though. I think with Tebow's drive and work ethic he might be able to elevate his game to be a solid NFL QB. I do believe he is a long way from there now.
Clausen on the other hand is by all accounts more prepared to play QB right now in the NFL. I do think that he still has alot of work and improvement to do as any rookie does. I also tend to think with his "leadership" issues, AKA ducheyness, he may not be able to settle into a leadership role in the NFL.

Yeah, I have nothing against you but I would have constantly given you negative feedback. That way the long red bar would fit with your screenname and people would know not to mess with you.

Oh yeah, that would just make conversation with me even more inviting.
