No, its called common sense. No one will give the Redskins anything for Horton. Landry is much more talented, and has a higher ceiling compared to Horton who only had one decent season. Landry didn't have the best season last year, but as many of us here have said...it could've been that Landry was simply asked to do too much and that may have played into why he got beat so many times. Remember, Landry got beat because he was out of position not because of being slow or less talented.

Because in Saints trade scenarios you must consider that Grilliams is in New Orleans. He has a connection to Landry and Rocky, not to Horton.

Could it be a smoke screen to get Philly to move up and give us more picks?

Yeah it really picked up steam late last night. No one I've talked to believes the Skins believe Okung is worth taking at #4....which probably means that's who they'll draft

Latest rumor has them talking to an AFC East team about the #4 pick to move down in the 1st and add a 2nd. Not sure who the team is, think it might be the Jets.

Who would the Jets be targeting and what pick do the Jets have round 1?

Well they supposedly like Spiller a lot but I really doubt they'd trade up to #4 for him. I mean I get that they might think Seattle would take him at #6 but still seems a bit much.

Can't remember what pick they have off-hand

I want to answer part of my own question. Jets pick is #29. We probably wouldn't have too many good oline positions left by then. They are projecting 5-6 O-linemen to go in the first round.

We could get a solid one at #29. The O-line is DEEEEEEEEEEEP this draft.

There are only a few elite ones, but a ton of solid ones after that also.

still the #29 plus a 2nd would be good for us. there will be some OT's left. This team needs quantity more than quality at this point.
