I like this trade. This is a good move for us. Not much risk and we may be able to grab another 5th for Rocky.

Will we gained a player (Carriker) that for atleast 2 weeks prior to the trade the majoirity of the guys here were all about landing him, now we do there is something wrong with him. We just got an extra man and now we can trade some guys in a package deal or not its a good deal. Maybe we aren't used to be on this end of the deal.

Nope. Everyone is still in cerratoshock. I looked it up on webmd. It's a pretty serious nagging syndrome to shake and recover from. People are used to getting Carriker-esque players only when we trade away a 2nd and 3rd this year, and a conditional 6th next year. But it seemed that the Vikes were about to cut James at the time of the trade. We likely could have gotten him without giving up a pick. Trading for James was one of the dumbest of Vinny moves.

And how did Erasmus James work out for us? Does anyone have a tape of James' numerous Redskins highlights?
