i kinda like the cap, but i wish we could just resign our best players. but if there wasnt a cap, think about how it would be. every team could just resign any player they wanted to. there would never be any quality free agents on the market.

What I am looking for is a happy medium. Players that stay with their team if they are being treated fairly pay and otherwise. And players that want to go to another team simply because they believe that they can start and make an impact for that team where as their prior team would not let them. Of coarse that is a perfect world from a fans perspective.

Bye the way, the redskins have not won a superbowl or even been a serious contender since FA. When we won all of our SB's it was as one of the highest paid teams and there was no salary cap.
