Re: Undrafted Free Agents Signed
Darrly Clark is a monster QB...this may have been the pickup of the entire draft for the Skins. Dude's stats are sweet and he can run like crazy. Great pickup 4 sure. He can learn under McNabb and be a real asset in years to come---this dude can throw too... Check out the Penn Sate games this year---this dude was seriously legit...Colt was nice, but this dude has skills and speed!

Re: Undrafted Free Agents Signed
RI:
Redskins reportedly sign Penn State's Daryll Clark Redskins' General Manager Bruce Allen said Saturday the team would pursue an undrafted quarterback, and they've apparently found one they liked. The team has signed Penn State quarterback Daryll Clark as an undrafted rookie free agent, according to WFMJ-TV in Youngstown, Ohio. A two-year starter, Clark is Penn State's all-time leader in touchdowns (43) and also set single-season marks his senior year in passing yards (3,003) and touchdowns (24). Clark reportedly also had offers the Vikings, Packers and Rams and there were rumors he'd signed Saturday night with the Steelers. If the television report is true, Clark would become the team's fifth quarterback on its roster, joinign Donovan McNabb, Rex Grossman, Colt Brennan and Richard Bartel. The Vindicator, Clark's hometown newspaper in Youngstown, reported Sunday afternoon that Clark had yet to sign with a team, but the Redskins appeared to be the front-runner. "That's still pending, though," his father, Daryll Sr., told the Vindicator. While the team's list of signed undrafted free agents continues to grow today, the Redskins have also invited a handful of players in for tryouts, including Murray State receiver Derrick Townsel, Stanford safety Bo McNally, Wisconsin linebacker Jaevery McFadden and Colorado State safety Klint Kubiak. Taking a look at how Saturday's moves impact other Redskins UPDATED at 4:02 p.m. We could be staring at a couple of slow news days for the Redskins, but hopefully later today we'll have a longer list of the team's undrafted free agents. For now, we know they've locked up the following players: Ohio State safety Anderson Russell UCLA tight end Logan Paulsen Eastern Arizona defensive tackle Marques Slocum LSU running back Keiland Williams Penn State quarterback Daryll Clark Troy running back Maurice Greer

Cassavell Collegian Staff Writer Former Penn State quarterback Daryll Clark signed with the Washington Redskins, he confirmed in a text message. Re: Undrafted Free Agents Signed
i like the darryll clark signing, hopefully we can groom him to atleast be a backup in a few years. he was a pure winner at penn state, i think with time he could atleast be a decent backup.

Re: Undrafted Free Agents Signed
On another note.... Blount was supposed to be a UFA for the 49ers even agreed to terms. The Titans called with a better offer so he told the 49ers to pack sand. I'd love to see the Skins offer more then the Titans. lol.
Edit: apparently if the UFA has not signed on the line then they can change their minds. Are there any other UFA's we are interested in? |

Re: Undrafted Free Agents Signed
No one really stands out to me as much as Chase Daniel did last year.
Darryl Clark is a mild surprise. He was on their radar but I really thought the UDFA QB they would take would be Max Hall

Re: Undrafted Free Agents Signed
Darryl Clark signing is not what I was looking for. As a PSU fan also I saw more then enough of his attempts to play QB. I see him as camp fodder that will not make the final roster.

I agree, not a PSU fan, but definitely a Big Ten guy(OSU fan), and Clark wasn't so hot last season. Joe Elliot from Purdue should have been given a call before Darryl. |
