If you look at the numbers you will see that Campbell is a middle-of-the-road NFL QB. Not the best but not the worst - in the middle. So you can't really call him a bust. He never realized the promise that we had hoped for when we traded up for him and thus the trade up was somewhat foolhardy. But that does not make him a bust. And he certainly is not one of the greatest team draft busts.

He's a bust from the standpoint that they gave up 3 pick to get him. 3 picks that could have resulted in great players. I dont think they would give up 3 picks to get a middle of the road QB, they expected him to be great and he wasnt.

As Matty pointed out, the three picks make for a bad trade, not a bust. On this one can criticize the trade, not the player. JC is decent.

Re: Campbell A Raider

JC's #'s have improved every year and that is playing with a injury depleted and bad OL. He will succeed.

Been a fan of Pro football for a long time, teams(Giants ,Skins,Cowboys) don't matter when it comes to being a great QB not one has ever been great by himself.
Who would the 3 picks have been that would have been great had you not gotten Jason?
