Oakland made some GREAT O-line picks, two guys I wouldn't mind seeing here in Bruce Campbell and Jared Veldheer. Even with two rookies, this line is better than Campbell was abused behind last season with us.

The Raiders somehow had a GREAT draft. McClain is a monster, two great O-Tackles, some defensive depth.

He could actually see some success there. They always have a good running game too.

I just can't understand why we gave him away for a 4th rounder in 2012. We might as well just gave him away for free. He's better than that. We could have kept him as a backup for one year instead of getting ripped off like this. Also, if we had drafted another QB late, this move would have made more sense. Jevan Sneed went undrafted, then signed with the Bucs.

Does this mean Colt Brennan is definitely staying?

I just can't understand why we gave him away for a 5th rounder in 2012. We might as well just gave him away for free. He's better than that.

It's actually a 4th rounder, but I get the feeling that Oakland was kind of in the driver's seat with this one. They knew we had gotten McNabb and that eventually Campbell had to be traded or cut, I don't think anyone bought MS' whole "we'll keep Campbell if need be".

We're probably lucky to have gotten anything for him. There was talk a week or two ago that teams were just going to wait for us to release him.
