I don't think that he will rise up to be a probowler, but I sure would love to see it. It has been a long time since this team has had a great QB. I think having McNabb play in front of CB, that some of that professionalism may rub off a bit, maybe. If it doesn't? Well then, I don't really see much of a future with Mr Brennan and the NFL.

Ok, I was gunna say with all the CB threads we had to open another but it seems others have beat that drum.
So I'll take a serious side to this question: I like his chances. I think he might shine under the Shanahan's. My only concern will be his height compared to the other two QB's. Never mind. Just looked Austin is now the shorty. CB- 6-3 206 lbs Bartel- 6-3 233 lbs Austin- 5-10 165 lbs I have not seen Bartel play but Looking at Austin's play from college he looks pretty good also. I could see CB being the #3 if healthy and Austin making the PS. |
