it amazes me at the amount of credit Gregg Williams gets...he's amazing and all, but i think he gets way too much credit when it comes to being able to produce with no name people...

Smoot is one of the core guys that Gibbs keeps talking about...and they have already let one slip away. I believe we need Smoot in order to keep our defense in the top 3. he's not a top 5 CB like he claims, but he's a great compliment to Shawn Springs.

as far as what has been listed as important, there is one glaring thing we need. a healthy team leader to replace Pierce. Pierce was the backbone of the defense last year, and someone will have to step up to replace him.

The O-Line should be set, with the addition of Rabach...

i can't see adding another receiver (expect with a lower pick in the draft) unless Smoot is resigned and we draft a DE in the first round...
