Brian Cushing Suspended 4 Games

When ever a player like this gets caught using steroids, I always wonder how good the player will be without them. Like Merriman, he has never been really the same since the he got caught using steroids. I know he has had injuries, but he has not ever regained anything like his previous form.

If this is true then they should take away Cushings DROY award.

The incident led to the passage of a rule that forbids a player who tests positive for steroids from being selected to the Pro Bowl or winning any performance awards in the year in which they tested positive. The rule is commonly referred as the "Merriman Rule".[6][7] However, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell has tried to distance the policy from being associated with the player, stating that Merriman tested clean on 19 of 20 random tests for performance-enhancing drugs since entering the league.[8]

This is pretty bad to. The Texans message board has at least 9 or 10 Cushing threads on the first page alone.

I read a few pages of the first one listed. Seems as though guys are in denial. Would we defend a guy that much if it was one of our guys?

Really, I thought a lot of them were pretty hard on Cushing. A few of them even called to have his DROY award revoked.
