If he has served his time than you need to leave it be. The only thing that comes from you involving yourself is possible bad things for you.

Edit: obviously this is very personal to you, and I don't mean to minimize it's painful impact on your life. I just think that if you confront him, you stand to lose a lot more than you can possibly gain.
