I think what Gibbs wants to do is take the hit now, all the spending Snyder did in years past is killing us now. Gibbs is not only getting us out of the hole now he is setting us up for years in the future. everyone is critical of gibbs and what he is doing, I think we all know what gibbs has done for us. In the case of smoot, the redskins had to withdraw because Smoot wanted to take his sweet time and looking at the position we are in cap wise.
