She has geek week going on. Does Bill O'Reilly have geek week on?

She's had Rand Paul on twice. First time he announced his candidacy on her show, second time, well, we know what happened the second time. She's invited Liz Cheney, Karl Rove, Sarah Palin, and numerous other Republicans repeatedly. All have declined.

I've seen her interview one of the top RNC communications guys at least twice. Can't pull his name off the top of my head. Tim Phillips, President of Americans For Prosperity, a group that works with Freedom Works (headed by Dick Armey) funding the Tea Party movement, has been on at least twice. Both times I saw the interview. They definitely didn't agree. So I think she's willing to have on whomever is willing to except the invite. I really don' think it's a matter of getting a bunch of liberals that agree with her point of view.

Well I cannot comment because everytime I have seen someone on her show it was a person who agreed with her point of view. I do flip over to her show several times a week to see what she is talking about so its not like I only cut her on once or twice a month.

I pretty much catch Rach every evening, not so much lately, but I would consider myself an avid viewer of her show. I really don't care too much for Keith Olberman, Dylan or Ed Shultz. I'll flip over to Sean Insannity to see if he has Dick Morris (my fav) predicting more doom and gloom or pushing his latest book detesting the Obama administration.

For a while there I was watching Sean Hannity so much my girlfriend would just shut the TV off and we'd get into a little argument. Crazy.

Most, if not all, of the Republicans/conservatives here would damn near get banned, run over, or ridiculed on that site. I used to surf it every now and then for shits and giggles, and they totally banned me after about two months. I felt like I was being punished for not folding my clothes or something...I was like, what'd I do?!! LOL

Good thing the Prez has his finger on the pulse of this thing:

Obama punts on Birnbaum exit - Eamon Javers and Carol E. Lee - POLITICO.com

Interesting how Hollywood doesn't seem to care:

George Clooney, Bono and Other Celebrities Sit Out Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill Relief - AOL News

Re: Guard watches coast for oil slick's first wave

Maybe off topic a bit but I had a geek moment this morning when I saw good old Bill Nye the Science Guy explaining to people on TV about the oil spill and what is currently happening.

Good move on the gov'ts part there. He always could explain complex science in a way that people could understand it. I didn't know he was still on tv. We watched him in school way back in the day....

Kinda dumb to compare relief efforts for a 3rd world country devastated by a natural disaster to an oil spill that a giant corporation is responsible for.
