why not try plax now?

I don't think it would be a good fit from Plax's perspective. He would want to sign a one-year deal where he could come to a team with an offense in which he could put up some sick numbers so that he'd have a strong season to stand on when negotiating for his next long-term deal.

Now that we have gotten Patten and Moss, he'd have to wonder where he would fit into the plans. I think he wants to be a #1 receiver somewhere and pile up the stats. Plus, any receiver interested in big stats would wonder if a Gibbs offense is where they want to be, considering the year we just had.
