Thats pretty stupid. Its was Obama office thats signed off on this and it was also Obama who gave the OK to start new offshore drilling in VA and other areas. Also how did Louisiana and Texas profit off this oil well. Both parties are to blame period.

Even through all the devastatison they are crying about don't take away he oil money. don;t take away teh opil well. hoe si thast stuopid. You live by the oil and when something happens we pretend like nothing is suppose to happen. Oil rigs are perfect when the profit comes in. But, when something goes wrong. Well we see the results. It's a conscience choice, nobody twisted their arms for that oil money. They wanted more and more.

No one says oil rigs are perfect but we do expect a decent safty plan in place when something does happen and thats the problem I have.

The only problem is nothing can be done. If you are digging one mile beneath teh sea, what can you do? Absolutely nothing. Somethings humans can't do. Pray. that's one rig, and it did all this damage that means digging down there is really really dangerous to the environment.

From what I have read it seems that all the reasearch has gone into drilling these things but no research has gone into stopping a leak and safty. We can come up with a way to cap these things its just the money (the oil companies money) has not been used to do so and the goverment has not forced them to do the research. If the gov. said the only way you can drill is to come up with a safty devise to shut them down and a back up syetem if the first one fails the oil companies would find ways to shut them down. What has happened is the oil companies have thrown money around to both parties and they have turned a blind eye.

Last week i was on vacation and i was piss drunk and could only find MSNBC on the cable we had. I ended up watching some of Maddow.....

So i found myself completely agreeing with her. She was talking about how since Exxon Valdese the clean up measures have not improved at all. I think its been 20+ years and they still clean oil spills up the same way. They showed the booms not really working and being held in place w. bamboo. This is America, we shouldnt use bamboo for anything but furniture, office plants, and pissing off neighbors. I only watched about 30 mins but i didnt despise her as i passed out. I felt a little funny the next day kind of like I just slept with a ugly chick, but had that “well at least I wrapped up” feeling.

If you're passing out to Maddow that must've been a really bad night on the vacation, sorry to hear that.
